The Night Flyer

The Singapore Flyer is one of the latest tourist attractions, constructed with the idea of the London Eye in mind. Seems that it has attracted millions of tourists ever since its inception, and it does command a great view of the Singapore River and the surrounding sky scrapers.

I went up the Flyer last week. The last time I was at the Flyer, some of the buildings were still being constructed and I was lucky enough to go there by day and by a stroke of a very lucky hand, I got the whole cabin by myself! This time round, I did not manage to get the whole cabin to myself, but at least it was not that crowded!

The Flyer by day looks different by night. During the day the sea can be seen clearly, but during the night it was nothing but darkness, save for the lights of the skyscrapers around. Still, it has a great view of the Singapore skyline and the changing colours of the Flyer itself!
